My View

Looking back on 80 years of life. What I have seen and what I have experienced.

But be careful, there are two problems:
   1) Half of everything I know is wrong
   2) I am easily deluded.

I have walked my path with my head in the clouds, and fortunately, with my feet on the ground.

• Our country is safe

  On January 14, 1961 our Ballistic Early Warning System on the island of Shemya indicated missiles fired toward us from Russia. The Colonel in charge didn’t press the button right away. He ordered the civilian engineer in charge to see if there could be another cause. There was: the signals sent out were reflecting off the rising moon and looking to the radar like missiles. Disaster avoided.

• Universal Now

  The speed of light means there is absolute time, it means there is a preferred reference frame. And that preferred reference frame is the center of the Universe. At the center of the Universe, the Universal Now is moving through time at the speed of light. And all of us, each in our own Reference Frame, are moving with it.
